these 2 losses are going in the "bad losses" column.

No, no they aren't.

That's not a thing. They aren't losses that will weigh heavily against us getting a tourney bid, which is what a "bad loss" is.

Not worried at all still very early.. The drive and kick every play is annoying but hopefully that changes. When it gets into march good teams will be able to gameplan for that with no problem.

Not at all, this is equivalent to us losing in 3 quarters of one game game of football (yes I did the math). This is expected with a team as young as this, plus it's a lot easier to get to the ncaa tournament than the cfp. This team will be fine and lsu fans need to stop being over dramatic about everything.

Please stop with the "youth" excuse. That doesn't work in basketball.

And these two losses aren't good at all. Marquette and NC State will be middle of the pack in their conferences.

A 5 for me. Blakeney has been a huge disappointment so far with his outside shooting. We have been unable to effectively post up Simmons and he apparently can't shoot a jump shot. But we can't really judge until we get our last two players on the floor. The thing that really broke my heart was Simmons missing that last free throw in regulation. If he had only made it to give us a one point lead then when we got the ball with 7.2 seconds left we would have just had to keep control and not score.

I love love love Ben Simmons. But the lack of a jump shot is concerning. Teams will sag way off of him to help prevent penetration and force him to shoot jumpers. That will take away some of his effectiveness.

But again, he's phenomenally talented and I absolutely love the guy. Just want to see him knocking down the 15-18 footer.
