You are reaching now.... How old were you in 2001???? You said eairliar that you can't remember much about 2001.....

What he is saying is only two teams make the title game. So most of the team's biggest games arent the national championship

The QB was a good player , not a great one , a lot like what we have now , only he was stronger , harder to put down ,
lost to Ole Miss
Lost to the Vols when Tennessee still had a team , and lost to the gators when the gators had a team , then beat the Vols 31 to 20 for the SEC Championship game . SEC teams is the answer that you are looking for .

The point of this thread went over your head

guess you skipped that section of life/education where you learn about "context". Too bad. Really limits your perception.

Again, saban walked into a program that was stocked full of future nfl players. Lsu was 2 years removed from back to back top 13 finishes.

That 2001 squad was stacked with nfl talent.

So were the 2012, 2013, and 2014 teams...no titles

That's not what he is saying at all... He said that Rohan failed in a bigger game and on the more important stage than JJ did.... I just asked him what game and of course he crawfished and backed down like the puss he is.... He has been doing this all along... I like how he only answers certain questions . The ones he knows he has no chance with he avoids..

Yes he has.. And whats funny is I like Miles, BUT I also give credit to Saban for what he did at LSU and HE just can't bring himself to do it... He say Hester wasn't a STUD during the FLA game. And its because he was recruited by Saban...

Well he also led off with a list of players that went on to play in the nfl to try and dis saban. Some of those players won 2 sec titles AND a national title. Miles had more go pro over the last 4 years and has one sec title.

I like miles but I hate the offensive production with all the talent.

how is this worthless arse thread not anchored? if you substitute 2013 for 2001 it wouldn't have even lasted 5 seconds without an anchor..

We were held back by coaching

Until we lost to ole miss we ran an ultra conservative offense. After that saban let jimbo loose and the offense was probably the best in lsu history.

In terms of the "most important game" for a team, that is NOT a NC for 120 teams. At that point, it becomes the game that most affected the outcome of the entire season.

Which ones would those be?

I know that's the point of YOUR thread dildo, but still don't know why your 2001 thread isn't anchored while a 2013 thread would definitely be.

lost 3 GAMES EASY-Ben Wilkinson, M Clayton, Spears, M Hill, C Webster were FRESHMAN-.It was the beginning of a run that would have made LSU the FACE of College football, but Saban left and instead of promoting Jimbo Fisher they hired a Mediocre Coach

I'd rather have a mediocre coach elevate LSU to Top 5 status than have another coach elevate us to Top 3 status and the Fulmer Cup

Alabama - 58-9 record, 2011 & 2012 National Champ, Top 4 In 2014
Florida St - 58-10 record, 2013 National Champ, Top 4 in 2014, back-to-back undefeated regular seasons
Auburn - 45-20 record, 2010 National Champ, 2013 Runner Up
Oregon - 59-7 record, 2011 Runner Up, Top 4 in 2014
Ohio State - 54-11 record, Top 4 in 2014

LSU is sitting at a 52-13 record with 1 SEC championship and a runner-up in 2011. I'd put them in a tier with Georgia, Stanford, Oklahoma, Michigan St. at 6-10. If you look at the last 3 years LSU is borderline top 15.
