Next season looking at the roster. We’re gonna have some studs all over the place. Secondary, Dline, WR, and qb. The BJ’s Ricks Flott Mason etc etc are gonna have a ton of starts under their belt. The talent will be there to beat anyone in the Sec minus maybe 1 or two teams. And even those two won’t have gaping advantages in talent. Who’s the guy that can come in and keep everyone together and not miss on the two oline studs and Walker on signing day?

Where are the stud offensive linemen since you didn’t mention that? And you think Orgeron is capable of building a contender next year? No, it’s year 5 (full years) and the roster and coaching staff are a mess. Time for him to go.

Maybe the whole bad chemistry of O, staff, team, and Woke LSU just needs to crumble. So a real football coach can come and rebuild a real LSU team and football program from the ashes.

thats why i think they wait until a few more games at least so they dont have to replace their TE head coach with another TE coach trying to coach them knowing he and everyone else wont be here next year

i think its all about prepping for the new coaching staff at this point and just trying to let that be the deciding factor when they clean house

By simply telling them that we're getting a real coach next season.

Scott is part of the problem. He’s the fool that extended this clown for six years!

Can't cherry pick it. A wholesale change from top to bottom will risk talent. Short-term risk would be worth the long-term gain.

Things are about to go from bad to ugly.

Nothing to play for except pride.

Most will just go through the motions. Ed is done.

It will come down to the position coaches, and it usually does anyway. That's who has contact with players more often. The position coaches are the ones who can motivate and make sure the players understand they are still playing for something.

Now the position coaches have to have a reason to give a shite too. That's where Woodward comes in.

Hire a coach they want to play for.

Pretty obvious.

The New Coach has to recruit them to stay, but people act like every time a coach gets fired everyone bails.

Last night I’m pretty sure I saw thanks Bigsby and Bo Nix play for Auburn.

He has to make the change ,because the team realizes that Coach O cannot do the job. Good assistants will not work for him, because of the way that he treats them and gets rid of them when he feels threatened. If a move is not made soon, players will start to leave in droves. SW has to act now. You cannot win without competent coaching.

Not firing any incompetent coach because the recruiting class coming in is good is a stupid mistake. Sjw Scotty should be smart enough to avoid that, we aren’t going to have mass transfers over losing O. Our class might take a bit of a tumble but it can recover.

The position coaches should be motivated to do enough to be kept on. I assume most are now tied to Ed O so there aren’t many soft landing spots for them.

(The New Coach has to recruit them to stay, but people act like every time a coach gets fired everyone bail)

Agreed, and also if the recruiting class takes a hit big deal. It's not like we are currently getting our arse whipped by far inferior recruiting classes. I'm sure the latest classes at UCLA and Auburn were way ahead of us in recruiting stars.

Guys that can't make it on the field at LSU transfer to other schools and all of a sudden are some kind exceptional standout?

Something does not compute. Wait until they rip the scab off and the insider stories start to come forth. It will be ugly I'm sure, but it has to happen.
