Put him where you want, he played everywhere, but you've got to have Ricky Blanton somewhere!

Bernard Woodside needs strong consideration for an 'all defense' team as does Al "Apple" Sanders from Pete's team(s).

I can't believe you, of all people, left Dennis Brown off of this list.

Shaq
Blanton (As a center, but would work as a PF)
Woodside (made the Freak Defense work)
Roland
G Temple

My opinions are subject to change.

It would defintely be hard to find points against that group. Other' that I've seen would be:
Bob Petit
Greg Cook
Jerry Reynolds
Al Sanders
Daryl Joe
Rudy Macklin
Ethan Martin
Leonard Mitchell
Tyrus Thomas
Shawn Griggs
Jose Vargas
Stromile Swift
Vern Singleton
Ollie Brown
Dennis Brown
Johnny Jones
Clarence Ceasar
Tom Hess
Dennis Tracy
And a couple before my time that folks say were outstanding defensively, on the 1935 MNC team,
Sparky Wade and Buddy Blair.

The lack of the name Dennis Brown on these lists is proof that people will just throw names out there without knowing anything. Brown, from Woodlawn, moved sideways as fast as most of us move forward. He was THE defensive stopper. He just wasn't much of an offensive threat at LSU and turned the ball over far too often to allow himself considerable playing time.
