re: House divided - Who has a spouse from a rival SEC school?

LSU/GA

Been married for 38 years. Wife from Arkansas.
Been living up here last 14 years. Last 2 haven't been so good, but I still proudly wear all my LSU gear. Wear my hat about everyday.
My wife and her family all big LSU fans except 1 day a year.

LSU grad x 2 here (B.s., M.D.)
Oldest son....Auburn grad
Second son....UGA grad
Wife..........UA fan
Stepson.......has UA tag on his truck
Stepdaughter..attended UA

An SEC family, but.....

Saving grace...my UGA grad is still a diehard Tiger even against UGA, but I find myself pulling for UGA and Auburn when they are not playing the Tigers.

Makes for a fun time on weekends during the season.

She is actually is pretty tame for a UA fan. I had to reminder who they were playing this week. Also, if you were to meet her in person, you would likely rethink your stance.

My wife went to Bama, lived in LA for 8 years and pulls for LSU every game except one, this week she's frickin tigerbait.

My wife grew up as a Husker fan but attended Tulane for undergrad.

She did get an advanced degree from LSU, so now she's slightly less repulsive to me.

My wife is a Mississippi State grad as is her father and brother. About five years ago we were driving to BR for an LSU/State baseball game when she realized she knew more about the players for LSU than State. Conversion is a subtle process.

My bf is a gump.

And we have already had the conversation about never having those stupid house divided license plates. His vehicle can have all his Bama crap on it while mine will have my LSU stuff on it.

Sounds like me and my husband! For the LSU/OleMiss game, we don't even sit together at the game. He goes to his corner and I go to mine.
