You could tell from the first play of the game that the defense was locked in. His articulation, innovation, preparation, and ability to adjust are exquisite. Been a fan since his Utah State days. Probably my favorite LSU Asst. since Jimbo.

Agreed. I never can make up my mind on who I would prefer between Jimbo and Herman. At this point I just want one of the two.

What has really been impressive is the the different style of offenses he can shut down. Power, spread....whatever you throw at him he adjusts his scheme and personnel and puts the clamps on it. Even Alabama can't say that this year.
He had D Alexander playing significant time at MLB against Alabama for Petes sake. And it worked! Dude is a mastermind.
