How do you run press coverage against the slot WR put in motion.

Big-time fail. Holliday played with Russell, Flynn and Perilloux. For that matter, Lee and Jefferson were capable of throwing the deep ball, especially the former.

Because hollidays arms/hands are lower to the ground, he has more time to make a catch, and he can always get the low throws.

Yes, his lack of height makes him a deep threat.

He did it 10 times. The 225 pound bench press that is.

It is amazing how all of you guys say what he can't do, but the 2 Hall of Famers were raving about the little guy and how dangerous he could be in the NFL. Also talked about how well he caught the ball and how crisp his routes were.

He had a great combine.

Oh, about the safeties, Lafell got behind them, I can gaurantee you Holliday could. If the ball isn't thrown to him, at least the safeties are cleared out for the big WR or TE up the seam.

what kinda odds are you people giving on TH catching a *single* pass in a regular season NFL game?

Just curious.

Jefferson over threw EVERY deep ball last year and many were to wide open WR's. Holliday may could have caught up to a few of those deep balls.

Bottom line, we havent seen what he can do if he is put in space consistently and given the opportunity to succeed.

He'll catch screen passes but I doubt he'd catch more than 1 pass thrown ten yards beyond the line of scrimmage in a year.

I met his chiropractor once, and he said, without a doubt, that Trindon is very solidly built for a man of his stature, so durability isn't as much of a question as the lack of stereotypical height at the WR position.

I agree with others that height is not necessarily a premium for a slot receiver. However, 5'5" is really low to the ground. If he has to use his vertical leap very often, he's going to take some punishing hits.

He works hard, has good effort and is a threat as a returner, so he may catch on somewhere. He probably will not play WR much, but will get an opportunity to play in the NFL.
