History of Mike I the Tiger

What i want to discuss is the first Mike Tiger traveled with the team and his reign lasted 20 years. He must have been a Tiger that lived quite well. Now with the PR BS we can't even put him in a cage and wheel him 200 yards around. Does anyone have any more info if Mike the Tiger did in fact travel with the team etc and how that all worked?

Was the Mike that got stolen by Tulane fans when he was in his travel trailer?

My dad was at LSU when the original Mike arrived on campus - said it was a hell of a party.

I've heard varying stories on this tale. 1 was he was let out of his cage by Tulane fans. Other was they stole the trailer.

Sounds like the scene from hangover 2 when they stole Tysons tiger. Imagine how drunk that Tulane guy was to do that.

We also used to hang people without trials and bleed people as a means of health care. Maybe there's a reason things change.
