I think you are severely overestimating Hornsby.

Gray should be really good though.

I dig that lineup. And I may stand out in the crowd about this, but I'm not overly sad Hickey is gone. I really liked him off the bench, especially on defense, but I got tired of seeing him run the offense so dang wrecklessly. He had a lot of turnovers from over doing it, and I wouldnt mind seeing a more consistent offense with less boneheaded turnovers. If Gray is everything he has been hyped to be, I think we should be ok. Depth will be in short supply, but I dont think its doom and gloom time.

WHOA... Hickey was never a team leader. CJJ even said this offseason that Jordan and Jarell were the team leaders.

Not sure they wanna burn a spot for next year. This 2015 class could blow up. I'm talking UK style... 5-6 top 50-100 prospects blow up.

I agree, but if that's the case it looks like coach will make room...

I'm not terribly disappointed by this.

Hickey would have been a nice depth piece for next year, but, ultimately, I don't think he fits into CJJ's scheme of bigger, slashing guards the way Gray and TQ will.

Best of luck to all 3 moving forward.

I think TQ's development will make him better than Hickey could have been.

Wishful thinking. Hickey is wayyyy better than Quarterman.

I still think you are overestimating Gray so we have that.

I have watched him shoot the basketball. He is that good at it. Add his athleticism which has also been on show in the dunk contest and you have a really solid player.

I think Gray will be a very good player also, but I am excited because we haven't had a player who could shoot like Hornsby since I have been a fan.

It's Bregman's fault! And the official scorer at baseball games, too!!!

Regardless, the squad isn't a tournament team with the kind of offense and defense we play.

I'd really like to see a bench coach change somewhere.

I still think we have a decent shot at tournament.

It depends on development. We haven't had a shot to really see coach develop his players yet, so let's hoe that this offseason brings the development of Martin, Mickey and Quarterman that we need.

I can dig this. Hope Patterson is here for depth.

Thats more size at C than we've had in a loooong time. Hopefully Elbert is actually a decent player and is in good shape to play enough minutes. That is critical for us IMO.

You don't know that. It all depends on Gray, Hornsby, and how Quarterman progresses this offseason. Could still be a talented team.

Going to have to rely on jordan and jarrell a lot. Hopefully the two guards can supplement them and we play more up tempo(of course we'll still need to improve in the open floor, these guys pissed away so many opportunities when they had numbers)

Patterson is definitely a question mark.

Either way we will likely have the three guards all sharing the minutes of two positions.

Hope they are all working on endurance this off season.
