thunderbird1100- I agree with the basis of your point, but with the depth at the guard spot TQ can play some 2. Yes he might not be a offensively plus 2-guard but he can guard positions 1-3 with his length at 6'6"

At some point our guards will get in foul trouble and i think TQ55, Gray, and Hornsby can all interchange at the 1 and 2. That's all that i mean't.

How do you know this? Also even if it is only meetings and class why is it not serious if your Senior point guard (who by default should have it all together) isnt taking care of business academically or doing the little things athletically? Jones sent him a couple messages at times suspension and benching.

Now in no way am I insinuating that I have any knowledge whatsoever about Hickey's situation. Johnny Jones is too classy to release any information to the public other than positive info about players.

As it is Johnny had reasons and it would appear that the reasons had nothing to do with cutting him to make room for an incoming guy.

Hickey was a bright spot for some dark years and Im glad he was a tiger and gave something fun to watch on the court. I hope he gets it together has a great senior season and gets a degree.
