Of course it is. I'm all over this board crying and moaning about the O hire...how we are doomed, headed below hallman days, etc...lmao. most of you weren't even born during that time. Life goes on kid. We lost. It sucked. Stop letting something you can't control, control you.

Dawgfan, don't you get it? Everything is the baby boomers fault. The economy, earthquakes, Katrina, Trump, North Korea, 21-0, 37-7, etc. Give them time. They just might figure it out.

Coach O will make this an interesting season to follow win, lose or draw. I don't see him going quietly into the night... Right now he's very reserved, the anti-Trump if you will, but you just know there's some real heat boiling just beneath the surface.

I think one thing we can agree on is that this calm, cool and collected Orgeron is not the real Orgeron. He's not being authentic and players pick up on that. But the maniac Orgeron sucks at coaching too. So we're fricked either way.

So basically you're saying, being himself is not a successful formula and being someone he isn't is not a successful formula.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend coach o ripping his shirt off and asking some of our players to fight. This ain't ole miss, he would prob get his arse jumped.

Well said. I dislike coach O as a coach, but your thoughtful post (instead of the endless insults) actually has me thinking it through again. Well done.

We're getting very close to

quote:

So at some point, either later this season or next, things will start to look bleak for Coach O. Much worse than it is now.

If we lose to Florida, then this will be the Auburn game:

quote:

He'll rip off his shirt in front of the team. He'll fight for his job. It will fire the team up and we'll upset a highly ranked team, saving O's job...for a while.

Then after Ole Miss and Bama we'll find out the answer to this question
quote:

Will it be enough?

is no.
