Here is what really kills me......

It really amazes me how all the talking heads have made so much fun of Les Miles through the years...they talk about his time managment, play calling, lack of discipline, ets. These "talking heads" include Herbstreit and Finbaum...Now that there is talk of a change, they react and say what a mistake! Herbstreet tonight states he is the most winning LSU coach and should not be removed. Finbaum has burned Miles for years. Now, he states it is not fair! What is the truth...I think they will take any shot at LSU regardless of sides.
I am not saying what is happening right now and handled by Alleva is right. IN fact, I think Alleva has not handled it well. BUT, the same jokers that have laughed at Miles for years not say he shouldn't go. What a joke and what hypocrites!!

Why hasnt this been handled well? Nobody even knows the full truth yet. And to add, its never easy to say goodbye in any shape or form. Anyway is a bad way

Nobody should ever allow a TV talking head to affect their emotional balance. That would be illogical.

Why you think soap operas have been on TV so long. Drama sells. There ain't no drama in patting LSU on the back.

The media is afraid of what we can become with a component coach. Imagine if your rival had a consistently top 5 recruiting class and the most players in the nfl and the only thing keeping them back was subpar coaching. Wouldn't you say that replacing that coach is a "bad idea" because another coach might come in and dominate you for the next 5-10 years?

I don't see Miles making a turn around. He played bama the same way. He didn't coach well. He had a bad game plan against bama. Do we have to wait for Sabin to retire.? Hell no. Ofcourse espn takes up for Miles. They haven't had to lose 5 times in a row to bama. Lets go get an outstanding coach. And move on. But I see what your saying. This is ugly

I'm a Les Miles fan. I've enjoyed his time at LSU. There have been times where I have been so mad I couldn't see straight, but I could same the same thing about any of the coaches that came before Les. He has represented LSU well and I'm sorry to see his time here end the way it is ending.
But I agree with you about the way all these "experts" have handled this story. They ALL made Les out to be a buffoon over the years, which I personally resent, and now they all act like they have had his back from day one.

I don't see why anyone would listen to the media when it comes to coaching changes.
THey're never pretty, not for any school.
The media loves mountain/mole hill everything. It's their job.
It should help enlighten you to how they approach every story.
