Strength of schedule didn't help Oklahoma State, remember it was the "eyeball test" that determined the rematch.

All Undefeated champions would rank:

1. SEC
2. Notre dame
3. Pac12
4. Big12
5. ACC

Big12 And pac12 are close tho, only giving edge to pac12 due to extra win in championship game (no big12 title game)

Herby's vote would not go to the SEC.

Fla. St. will probably run the table. A more realistic question which one loss team gets to play Fla. State in the Championship Game.

It's about where the votes go. If a team is voted down, then another team gets a bump. I would use Okie State last year as a reference. Several coaches voted them 5th to give bammer the nod.

FSU has no chance against any other undefeated.

So true. If the sec champ runs the table they get the nod because of conference strength.

If Bama runs the table them clearly they're in.

If LSU runs the table then that means they would have beaten Bama and possibly an undefeated Georgia. And will easily jump back over an unimpressive FSU resume and will be #2 even if they don't jump Oregon, which they will.

If Georgia wins the sec then they would have beaten a most likely undefeated lsu or Bama. They would easily jump FSU and would at least be #2, which is all you need.

Edit: Same goes for USCe

If any other teams run the table 1) from the SEC and 2) Oregon. They both get in over FSU. What argument could they make?
.
And if there is any justice in this world the West Virginia or Kansas st would jump them as well.

If LSU/Alabama have no losses they will be in it.

If Oregon and Florida State are both undefeated then it may go down to the final week.

Oregon probably will play USC in the Pac12 Championship.

Florida State's opponent would look to be Miami at this point.

Oregon would get the bump into the title.

Unfortunately for Notre Dame.. I believed if they ran the table with the schedule they have.. They had a shot for the title.. Since then USC, Oklahoma, and now Stanford have each taken a loss.

Well considering FSU and Oregon play 2 ranked teams the whole season and an SEC team would have beaten 2-3 top 10 teams plus another 2-3 ranked teams. No way the SEC gets shafted.
