Heads up to LSU fans coming to the game....

Before you guys freak out accusing the REC/SEC office/Gump administrators of trying to ruin your tailgate, power is off on campus as a safety precaution due to standing water and power chord exposure to said water. In other words, no TVs for game watching at your tailgate. Sucks that it had to happen on the biggest gameday of the year, but the weather isn't cooperating. That's the situation as of 12:45 pm and subject to change. Just wanted to give y'all a heads up before you claim a REC/SEC office/UA administrators for trying to ruin your gameday experience ;)

Yes. On the quad and adjacent places they ban generators but allow you to plug power into outlets provided by the university.

Well Bama has been doing this for a good 10 years.
I wouldn't mind paying for this if it included Cable as well. But it works well at Bama bc 85% of their tailgating is in the quad area. Keeps exhaust and noise down and still allows power.

Let me clarify. The Quad is where the water/power issue is. Many of the other tailgating areas on campus should be OK for TVs.
