Having trouble watching the game on ESPN app and screen mirroring to tv

Appreciate any help, but I’m trying to watch the game and through ESPN app. I can see it on my phone, I have my phone screen mirrored to my LG tv, but every time I try to go full screen by expanding on my phone, the picture goes black.

Get you a smart TV with the ESPN app loaded. Problem solved.

I have both firestick and chromecast. The chromecast that’s only a receiver and not the thing you download the apps on have performed better for me.
Anything you download the apps to, TVs included, can start to run poorly due to memory issues.

I love the Apple TV box. For stuff like this. Can bring that sucker anywhere needed.

I haven’t been able to mirror any game on ESPN from my phone or iPad for several years. .As soon as the game comes on, it cuts out. Heard this was happening to everyone and that it was an ESPN thing to cut down on unauthorized access. Glad we can stream it all now.
