Have some of you finally learned your lesson about making absolute assumptions?

A season is 12 games people, not 4, 5, or 6.

A lot of the geniuses here pretty much wrote off the team, the coaches, and everything else after the Auburn loss. It is like there was an assumption that there was ZERO chance for improvement as the season went along.

Patience is a virtue people. It is fun to watch the team grow up in front of us.

Next time, how about waiting a while before writing the entire season off?

no, they havent. nothing will change. we could win every game for the next ten years but when the clock hit 00:00 on that first loss, negatigers would flood the front page with endless "Miles is a dumbass i was right all along" posts.

I've learned to sit back and let Miles coach. He does some things poorly, but his positives far outweigh them. He has my full support going forward.

I don't know why some lose their water so fast. I mean, LSU football is only 150-42 since 2000 and 102-26 since 05 and still we have doubting Thomas' running around like it's the 1990ies all over again!

Relax and enjoy the LSU ride is my thought, but each to our own!

This isn't "I told you so" as much as it is "don't make blanket assumptions about how the season is going to go when you aren't even halfway through the season"

I agree with you. It's hard to make assumptions about college football. So many variables so many things that can happen including young players coaches making mistakes and the unknown. You try to think you know but you don't know everybody has an opinion sometimes you're right sometimes you're wrong. It's all part of being a fan.

I am a gazillion percent sure that when we lose the next game we'll hear:

1. Fire Les.
2. Throw more.
3. Our offense is boring.

Our fans are awesome; the best in CFB. The SEC Rant is proof of that. We are passionate and crazy and the ones who post on the Rant can be total jerks, but who cares right now? we all love LSU. Sat night was the stuff of legends. Haha Rogers!

When we won our first Naty, I sat in the dome and cried like a baby. I said I would never care again.

Maybe I was wrong, but I'm not as hard on the program as I used to be. What I do know is last night was a hella good time, and I had lots of reb alums with me to harass.

lm wins 80% of his games.
that means fans who are mostly negative (see mirror) are wrong 80% of the time. (and don't have anyway of recognizing this in themselves (see mirror again.))
