A better team than I expected....the D really flies to the ball, and the walk on QB played his arse off. They will make us look even better by the end of the year.

I agree. They were 3-0 coming in. They made our other backs running look in effective. Was it our line or was it their defense?

They played hard and had a game plan to protect the QB. The game was never in doubt, but they hit us a few times and we responded. The biggest takeaways from the game are we HAVE to stop taking big plays away from ourselves with penalties, we need to learn how to rush the QB in a shotgun spread offense, and Brandon Harris is still not comfortable enough playing on the road.

Experience should fix all these things before we get into the brutal season ending stretch.

Great people, great city, great game. Well worth the trip!

Nice moment after the game between Fournette and Floyd Little. He beat us but made a great impression with SU and its fans, as did LSU fans in general. Well done!

Sure, LSU has to make some significant improvements but Syracuse presented a true obstacle - they played very, very well and competed hard to the end.

And that Carrier Dome was loud as shite - I think my ears are still ringing!!

Did you even look at who they beat.
Three sorry arse teams and almost a fourth.

They did look very disciplined and well coached. The QB didn't had a ton of talent, but didn't make any really dumb throws or mistakes. His arm let him down a few times, but he didn't throw into coverage. The one pick was on a great effort play, and really wasn't on him.

The SU defense was overmatched in the run game, but they never quit. They fought like hell. Most teams that give up 200+ to a guy are going to get down, but they were still fast to the hole late in the 4th quarter.

I hope you guys can get some home wins and get to a bowl this year. The future looks better, though. If this coach can get some players, he seems to have SU headed in the right direction.

I was impressed. I went to comment on the article I read last night and give props and some fans talked trash saying we cant match up vs north east teams etc so I threw some stats at em
