…….I mean historically Tennessee football has been the SEC number 2 to Bama. They have been pretty bad the last 15 yrs, but they have the alumni and admin support to become relevant again quickly.

Serious question:
How old are you?

I’m guessing pretty young.

The Vols really screwed my March Madness brackets this year cause I had them in the final four or championship in most of my brackets. Even though they screwed me, I’d say the fact I picked them makes them relevant in a sport. Oh and I picked them cuz of the SEC tournament that they won. So yeah, just a couple months ago they were relevant in men’s hoops.

Women’s basketball and football for a very brief time when they had some dude named Manning as a quarterback.

Obviously they are very good in baseball and woman’s basketball when Summit was coaching but otherwise not relevant in the past 20 years.

They are the second most winning football team in the SEC after Alabama. So yes.

They were dominant 40-50s football. 80s early 90s pretty decent in football.

They were relevant when General Neyland was coaching them, then again had a peak that ended when we beat them in the SEC Championship game.

They were the #2 in football until the early 2000s. Haven’t done much since though.
