Because in most of the media's minds, we are LSU, we can't get better than a 10-25 fired head coach from Ole Miss. Nobody good wants to coach there.

Dude we lost 4 games this year

won 7 lost 4

It does not matter that more than likely we should have beaten Wisconsin, Auburn and Florida. We played Bama tougher than anyone.

LSU has not lost national respect, we fired a coach who could not lead this talented team to championships. The game left him behind, a great guy and rich but no longer a hungry coach that could win games.

No

We have absolutely lost the PR battle on Miles firing/not firing last year + the UF/Hurricane debacle. The truth in these things don't matter - we are guilty in the court of public opinion.

Well losing 4 games tends to do that. Win get respect lose and be thought of as mediocre. You are what your record shows you to be. It's not because of who is coaching.

I think the disrespect has come about because of Auburns ranking. Auburn also lost 4 games including one to a pretty bad UGA team. The head to head was as close as you could possibly be to an LSU win at Auburn. They should not be 7 places above LSU.

Only if we fail next year, then I get to see what my family was talking about in regards to an LSU of the 90's.

This is the epitome of Dana White's saying of "don't let it get to the judges." Win all of your games and you don't have to argue about people'S opinions getting in the way.

Hate to bring you know who into the convo but media is arguing that they don't even need to beat Florida (which I think is bull) to be in the playoff.

I'm honestly shocked that Michigan fell to 5.

We are the only team in the modern era to play for a NC with two losses. We jumped like 7 spots in order to play in that game. We haven't lost respect, we just haven't been very good.

My guess is LSU would have been ranked pretty damn high if they would've beaten Florida. We just don't have a quality win. Florida wouldn't have been a super-quality win, but it would have been better than what we have. Our best win is against a&m.

You do realize we are the laughing stock of college football right now? When Desmond Howard is the only person on ESPN gameday that agree with hire, you're not in a good place.

9) Has excellent AD
10) Did not lose to two TD dog at home with Sugar Bowl on the line

I don't think you're stupid because you believe Navy should be ranked higher than LSU. I think you're stupid because you listed these as reasons.
