The lighting is a nice touch to add to the new windows and the improved sidewalk/plaza area across the street by Mike's cage. Combined with the big project on the west plaza, there have been some good exterior upgrades lately.

Can anyone find the renderings of the master plan for the street between the PMAC and TS? I remember a really wide pedestrian area and an elevated area with tailgate umbrellas. I can't find the picture.

I'm assuming you are referring to these renderings

In that first twitter picture, you can see the light hanging there. Is this how it is going to be? Looks a little cheap to me.

There was no better way to get a purple/gold glow in the opening without having the light be visible?

Eh, I'll wait until the season has started, so I know it's the final product. But I also never noticed the sewage pipe, so I might be the wrong person to ask.

For heaven's sake it is a light. I guess you can't see any of the bulb's in your house.

Not for a retrofit. You can't bust out any concrete to recess the light. They could have used a sconce type ballast or build a bump out to recess the light but those would look way out of place.
