We are getting feedback from practice and scrimmages about the performance of the two QB candidates. Looks like a close battle. Both have apparently improved over last season. However there is one factor not being considered yet. How does each perform under live conditions? They both are wearing no-contact green jerseys. There is no fear of being pummeled by a big tackle or defensive end.

Based on what we saw last year, how do you think Harris and Jennings will compare when they have to perform under "real" pressure?

Also, do you think the jerseys should come off so the coaches can get a more complete comparison?

Just couldn't stand posting in one of the multitude of Harris vs Jennings threads already in existence on this board?

I am tired as well, but can't anyone answer the f---n question? I haven't seen this specific aspect discussed on any of the threads!

There is very little intelligence on this board!

Including yourself. Talking about the QB battle right now is pretty dumb. We know nothing. Les lies to the media about stats and how they look. Remember all the "Jordan Jefferson is really looking great this year. Much improved!"

It's coach speak.

I think Harris is the better QB and with a solid line will take LSU to more wins. IMO

Honestly, I would be very sad if LSU's coaching staff could not tell the difference between these two players without jersey numbers, very sad indeed.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter who is wearing what jersey cause our starting quarterback has already been chosen. Miles chose Jennings and he will be our QB this year and most likely next.

It is a physical impossibility NOT to improve over last year's stats.

I have zero doubt on how AJ will perform under pressure. It's all roses when he can slowly go thru more than one read. Whole different game once he's lived bait. We will be very very limited if he starts.
