We all know the meltdown that happened in Jordan-Hare last year by our fan favorite QB, but the question is: how does. Brandon Harris respond to that this year? Last year, he was never really given another opportunity to prove himself to show how he responded. But coming into this year, assuming he's the starter, he could have a chip on his shoulder and look for blood in the SEC home opener, or he could lay down and wish CLM would give Fournette the lion's share of the workload. I believe the first of the two possibilities will occur, but the latter would show a lot about his character

He needs to do what he is asked to do, regardless of the opponent... but especially if that opponent is the only roadblock to starting the season 8-0.

Why wouldn't the former?

I really believe his ankle injury was legit and not just a smoke screen to make fans calm down.

He made some good decisions but was too jacked and overthrew horribly, play calling didnt help either, and he needed to learn more about pocket awareness

I think he announces himself to the world against Auburn at home behind the chants of the fans. After coming off a good game against MSU, he lights it up against Auburn,.

I do not see Auburn being ready for us this year. Way too early in the season for the defense to come together, and because the only got Williams this year, I expect White or Paris to have him on lockdown, and we get after Johnson with the front 7.

I would argue a dominant performance in the first SEC game reveals more about his character bc of what transpired last year and the expectations for this year. You wouldn't agree with that?

I was talking about his mindset during the game. Not particularly his performance that would define his character. Performance would determine the type of player he will be. His mindset and attitude/body language would determine his character and ability to lead

The point is his character can be revealed through both situations you describe, the former and latter, not just the latter. I agree that the proper mindset and approach to the game is key. To play QB in the SEC, you have to have the mindset you describe and I think both guys have it. More importantly, you have to perform! I think, like you, Harris comes out with the mindset (chip on shoulder looking for blood) and backs it up with a great performance!
