These kids are not coming up through the HS ranks as just athletes who need direction on how to throw.

Just look at Harris' high school stats....

quote:

Completed 178-of-329 passes for 3,172 yards with 34 touchdowns a

quote:

Threw for 2,573 yards and 26 touchdowns on 152-of-306 passing as a junior

Brandon Harris HS Highlights. Please watch the formations.

More highlights

Its SO fricking obvious Harris functions best in the shotgun with 3-4 WR sets. LSU has more than capable personnel to play this style.

Im not saying have a simple HS offense. It would be very easy to run a better offense, and we might have the best personnel at WR to be REALLY successful.

Didn't they do that last Saturday?

This whole LSU runs two te with a fb every play is a myth.

If the oline gets pushed around, it doesn't matter what formation they line up in.

Did you really just use high school stats and game film to justify your argument about a major college football teams offense?

Nick Marshall was a great QB in Auburn's uptempo spread power running game offense! The Jaguars are fools for not implementing that system! It's so obvious!

bullshite. I just watched quick highlights. Counted 13 times to 2 they lined up in shotgun vs another formation. 1 of those 2 was lf TD on the goal line.

LSU was in the shotgun at 0-0.

First offensive play was Harris in shotgun LF to his left and 3 wide and a TE. Harris hits Arky player in back of helmet, Dupre was wide open on the crossing route.

2nd play was shotgun, lf dropped for a loss.

3rd play, shotgun, Harris sacked.

This is at 0-0 after LSU gets the fumble.

Miles deserves criticism, but not when you people completely make things up.

Harris threw the ball 31 times last week, mostly from the shotgun. He was very inconsistent

If the team doesn't practice this(and I doubt they do) it's not easy to just break it out for a full game. Could lead to lots of mistakes.

Arkansas game makes me wonder if Cam really knows how to coach such a offense. Looked like a Chinese fire drill. So disorganized, Everybody standing around not knowing what to do.. Maybe Cam is not the man for that type offense. True that that type offense is more popular in the NFL than what we currently run but Cam ran the Coryell offense in the NFL.

But yes we need to run that offense more than what we currently do, but not sure Cam is able to. It is more effective and more NFL teams run it than what we run. It's still 'pro style', just more passer (and runner) friendly style of play.

However LSU just seems terrible at it compared to other teams

Against Bama the game plan sucked. Now with Ark. the game plan was good but the QB was not. Still need to incorporate more of Harris running.

The OL got beat bad 2 games in a row. We NEVER have a back up plan on offense. Our DL has been fortunate that up till Bama we did not play anyone with a strong running game. Bama and Ark. both exposed the DL.

We need to score points--we have to have more from the QB. You can't win consistently with less than 20 pts from your offense. Ole Miss game will be interesting.

Only reason miles let harris throw so much last week was because they were down 21-0 and there was no way the running game was going to get them back in the game. It was an act of desperation on miles' part. That is only reason the offense was opened up, not because miles wanted to change things up.

The first 21 plays were all out of the shotgun. Threw on first down 3 times. LSU wasn't down 21-0.

You guys are blinded by hate.
