Stupid article

Anyone and everyone knows Harris the starter, Miles just thinks he's creating more competition by not naming a starter until the 11th hour.

So basically the writer assumes Harris hasn't taken the position because Miles hasn't announced the starter yet. Yeah even a blind man could read into Harris as the starter after all the reports of him taking nearly all of 1st team reps so far in camp.

frick that guy

we know the number

Harris went 12/17 70%

out of 20/34 means harris got 50 percent of the snaps.

I am assuming they didn't completely ignore McMillan but if they did it means Jennings went 8/17. 47% is below his season average.

They did goal line drills so TDs don't matter. Getting to the goal line is the first step to scoring.

Harris wasn't the starter at the end of last season. He will be the starter at the beginning of this season. So however much headway that is, he's made that much.

This literally says nothing. It's straight from the Glenn Beck BRAVE ENOUGH TO ASK QUESTIONS truther playbook.

"Harris is supposedly improving, but can we REALLY be sure?"

There's really nothing new here...and I won't be surprised to see both play at times in the season...and I would also to expect to see each to have improved over last year's performances...hopefully that will be enough to get the job done...

Not to mention the fact that he got some help from Guice on at least one of those TD passes (that spin move was nasty).

But this dude is a student sports writer. I'm not expecting much in the way of in depth reporting.

While Miles downplays the drama of the announcement, he doesn’t appear to be any closer to officially giving either player the nod

Yeah how dare LSU have a student newspaper to train future journalists. What do they think this is, a school?

The only thing good about that paper was the daily crossword and Jumble.

Just a minor correction. The 12/17 was from the second scrimmage, but the 20/34 was from the first scrimmage; so, you can't say that Jennings went 8/17.
