Hangriff's PBP recordings should be played aloud to Insomniacs...

Dude's voice is the vocal equivalent of Rueben Randle's facial expressions...

I agree Jim's vision isn't what it once was...but surely we can find someone who can relay tension, enjoyment, thrills and excitement of the game who has no vision issues.

It's 18-0. How exciting can it be? This is the kind of night that you hear the story of how Serio's Poboy has a gold Warren Morris jersey hanging up, but it's really a #44 jersey with the other 4 hidden.

I heard the story too and the guy just can't engage. Listen to them talk to each other, and then compare Gordy and Rantz.

The difference is personality...one has it and one doesn't. It's the difference in an entertaining broadcast of a dud, or a boring arse broadcast of a dud...

At least the two guys on air tonight can hold an actual baseball discussion. Most nights it's a one way street.

I don't like him. I don't like the term "come set." just doesn't sound right.

Wish Lyn Rollins was on.

Forgive my ignorance...but where is Hawthorne? Work has kept me from listening to any game this year until this one. I was surprised to "not" hear him.

That's bull. He's always been monotone. Though he may be knowledgable, his voice is awful for an already not so exciting sport. Show some excitement.

You should be thankful Hanagriff is chubby and dry so Baton Rouge has been able to keep him all these years. No one knows their stuff better than him in BR.

It's baseball. It isn't exciting in February anyways.

I don't disagree. Soothing monotone.

I love falling asleep to formula 1, golf tournaments, and hanagriff.

Jim would have been so miserable if he were here tonight. Plus he would have had no clue what happened when Yale did a double switch.
