This is such a special team, we have had great groups that were really cohesive and amazing in the past but this group just has that IT factor that I don't think I have seen another LSU gymnastics team have before. The addition of Ruby Harrold and Kennedi Edney was really important. Glad DD has this, couldn't have happened to a better person. Still have much more gymnastics, I really do believe we can beat OU. Followed entire meet from Houston on SECN. In a way, I was not at all surprised that SECN preferentially covered almost all LSU events/individuals in events. Loved their coverage. After all, they were covering one of the very elite teams in America and all of their participants when they preferentially covered most of the LSU individual events...

I must admit - I was on the edge of my seat gripping my hands watching the last 3 Lady Tigers on the bars and the last 5 Lady Tigers on the beam. Not to worry. You Lady Tigers came through. Picked up your teammates in a big way. Not easy to do. Nerves of steel. Super clutch.

That's what it takes. We will be National Champs. We will beat Oklahoma. Congratulations again, Lady Tigers. Congratulations DD and your coaching staff. I can tell you are all a cohesive unit.

Lady Tigers, keep doing what you are doing. Don't get the big head for the prelims. Much less the finals. Keep practicing, doing what you're doing, keep relaxing before your moment(s). Have fun. You will win this. You look great...
