its not like clemson is a terrible team..they are potent offensively

Saban won the BCS C.G. last year, but he was out looking to improve his offense by trying to hire Boise St.’s O.C.

Winning or losing a single game is not the point. Clemson does not have a great defense, but they looked great against Miles' abomination of an offense.

Our defense would have shut down Clemson's potent offense if our offense could help to keep them off the field by making more first downs and scoring more points to give our defense some rest.

was only the National Championship and the Capital One bowl in the others though, so I guess that makes it okay.

But, but, muddy field, Penn State's advantage. Bama best ever. LSU should not have even shown up. Not embarrasing. LSU still awesomest. No changes needed.

We were not a very good team this year. We were lucky to win a few that we could have easily lost.

It isn't because we don't have talent - we just have a lot of raw, young talent. We will get better and be in it the hunt next year.

Plain fact is that we are not going to win the NC every single year and we will go to some less than stellar bowl games in the future. We will have our ups and downs. We will have season ending injuries and we will have stars emerge. We will have games where we look unstoppable and games where we look like a high school team could beat us. Just the nature of the beast.

Get over it - move on. I'm just happy to be a fan. LSU forever.

I know, but it was so painful to watch. I want to enjoy watching the game, whether or not we win or lose.

Yep. Total domination right there.

It sucks that it had to end that way, but we were no where near dominated.

Clemson was averaging 42.3 pts per game all season. We held them to 25 with 100+ plays or 17.3 pts below their season average.

50 passes and 50 rushes. Imagine if LSU had rushed the ball 50 times. The score would have been 35-17

Our Defense played their butts off, even though we couldn't seem to cover their #1 receiver #6 DeAndre Hopkins even on 4th and a mile???

Tharold Simon playing off him 15 yards late in the game was a joke unless his ankle was bothering him in which case we should have had someone else out there covering him.

Winning bowl games is a big deal. No matter what bowl you're in.

I could careless about Clemson, it's the fact that we have one of the top recruiting classes along with Bama and Florida and can't produce a balanced game like them or any other top program. We lean on one aspect of the game and have been doing so for two years now. It's time for a change.

After you lose to a team because you can't sustain drives and give them the ball for 100+ plays is just God awful. If this issue isn't addressed we will have serious issues next year. At the same token if Stud and Krag are fired(please God) then a whole new offense will be implemented but only basically. Which means more leaning on the D that will be weaker next year(base of loss not in coming recruits) and Miles medaling.

Is anyone else extremely worried about how next year will turn out? Miles basically got a raise for a none BCS year, why would he think there needs to be a change???

And on top of that, there best player got hurt on the first play from scrimmage. Imagine if Sammy Watkins AND Hopkins would have been running loose in our secondary.

Yeah, being at the game, it felt like LSU had no business having that type of lead in the 4th. The defense was gassed late. And the pass protection for LSU was awful. I haven't watched the replay, I'm going off of my view from good seats through some pretty thick beer goggles.

Nine 3 & OUTs is pure and simple domination. How many scores did our offense put up with out a short field compliments of our wonderful defense?

This result against a middle of the road Clemson defense.
