quote:

"I'm just going to use that as fuel, but I'm not going to disrespect (Miles) in any way, shape or form. He's a great coach and they're a great team. But I feel great to be at Notre Dame. Love the place, love the guys, love the coaches, love the surroundings. It’s a great community, they're all welcoming, everyone is really nice. It's definitely the perfect fit for me."

I can't wait until we go 6-6 again and play this loser in the Gator Bowl. Actually nevermind!

Brian Kelly will crush him within 3 years and he'll transfer. Too used to being coddled his whole life.

That whole deal was blown way out of proportion. CLM was speaking at the "Bayou Bash" recruiting celebration...preaching to the choir where the HC says things they don't say in front of ESPN mic's. Oh well, done deal now, Gunner got his club to make and lead, CLM has his.

Gunner is an inspiration. South Bend must be excited to see the re-birth of that "Rudy" spirit.

I agree. I do think that the Kiel family saw the fan base reaction after Jan 9 and figured it may be better to play in front of nice people. I love our fan base but we are rowdy and its SEC athletics is not for everyone....I think he made the right call, and I think as Les said it had to do with his "chest" (whatever that meant).

I actually agree with you on this. Kelly seems like the newer version of Steve Spurrier, a head coach that's really hard on his quarterback.

too bad for the pussy family that kelly is an intense coach that will chew up people like nothing. also he doesnt have much concern for safety of people around his football team.

frick gunner for changing his mind at the last minute and not having the balls to let the coaches know. Kid doesn't have the chest for SEC football.

He doesn't have the HEART: "cahoonas", "Lesticles" "balls."

the kid had the right to change his mind its the part of not informing clm and lsu that shows his disrespect and immaturity.

frick him. He's a pussy and I hope all the bad things in life happen to him. Not just for going to Notre Dame, but for screwing Miller out of a scholly to LSU.

My favorite part was (Kiel talking about LSU):

Their fans definitely understood.

I thought this guy was supposed to have all the tools to compete and play for someone this fall.

quote:

Brian Kelly exhorts Gunner Kiel to put a player in motion. #NotreDame frosh does not. Kelly after play sputters: "Pay attention, Gunner!"

The fans need to get over it. He is from Indiana and his uncle played at ND ( I think). I can't fault a kid for choosing one of the most storied programs close to home. If any of y'all were highly touted qbs and weren't from
Louisiana I doubt any of you would choose to play in a CLM offense over Brian Kellys.

You don't get it. It's not that he went elsewhere. It's that he was too big of a pussy to let the coaches know so LSU missed out on 4* OL Ryan Miller. That is why he's a little bitch, he cost another kid his scholarship.
