I agree. What is so funny about it? I'd laugh my arse off if Miles had a really great season (11+ wins) and dumped our arse for Michigan.

That would be an answer to all my prayers.

The article is just a summary of all discussion about LSU and Les. The article is like a movie that took highlights from a bunch of rant hits and put them together.

1. 9-3. seems like middle of rant bell curve
2. Meltdown. Bama blanking LSU at home. Saban factor. Media maelstrom.
3. some wins. Ole Miss, Hogs, NC, WV
4. Drama. Alleva, Pellini, Butch Davis. Only someone's second cousin's real estate report in Ann Arbor is missing.

His predictions have something for everybody. He pokes fun in his details. He also knows that no one remembers predictions next year and he needs clicks today.

Funny! we are talking about it.

I love how Kendrick Allen still has eligibility.

If Michigan gets rid of Rich Rod you would have to think the number 1 person to replace him would be the other Michigan man, and better coach, Jim Harbaugh

This is why he wrote it that way. Decent record prediction, obligatory blanking by Bama, Les leaves (guaranteed to please the chicken little morons and shake up the koolaid drinkers) alike.

He's studied the art of pot stirring well.

Why do people assume UM wants Miles?

I don't know about the University but I talked to several UM fans this summer (albeit less than 20). Some liked Harbaugh some liked Miles, pretty much a 50/50 thing. None of them liked RR.

About on a par with the meltdown from the Saban lovers when he tells LSU to go screw themselves cuz he ain't comin' back to BR!

If we have a running game as good as he predicts in the beginning of the season...how exactly does he predict us not scoring against Alabama? 9-3 with losses to those three teams doesn't seem that fanciful but I don't see it happening how he describes.

I'm glad he's predicting so much success for Richard Murphy. Kid deserves it.

Guilbeau is more or less right, except the ending.

(1) LSU loses to Arkansas in a close game.
(2) Michigan fires Rich Rodriguez but hires someone else. Pelini would never interview at LSU or come here again after the way he was treated in early 2005.
(3) Miles stays on at LSU as head coach and goes on to destroy some team in the peach bowl. He brings out a top recruiting class.

Two well written good columns by Glenn Guilbeau in a row? (Sunday and Monday). The world is coming to an end.

Actually, this was one of his better ones. Classic LSU fans who are now predicting 7-5 or worse would not be satisfied with 9-3. I want 10-2 with one of the wins over Bama or Fla.

Did he mention JJ getting injured? Or does he just assume Lee will prosper? Realistic predictions in regard to the record, but I can not in my wildest dreams see Bama skunking us at home. I like how he takes every ranted topic and embellishes it, (CLM leaving- but on his own terms, Lee taking the reigns, Saban routing us at Home) funny article.

Let me add one more paragraph to the end of that article....." Three days after Miles leaves LSU to become the new man in charge at Michigan, John Gruden is introduced as the new Head Coach at LSU."

ALABAMA 20, LSU 0: The No. 3 ranked, 7-1 Tide holds LSU scoreless in Tiger Stadium for the first time since Nov. 16, 2002, when Bama coach Dennis Franchione blanked Saban's Tigers 31-0.

Wow- that's pretty confident in a revamped Bama defense that looks to be the team's weak link this year.....Bama will be good- but they were good last year- AND THE YEAR BEFORE! Strangely- I don't recall LSU being dominated by THOSE star-laden defenses.

Oh well- articles like this excite us, so brace yourselves. There will be lots more like this in the next two weeks.
