A friend of mine shared these and I thought it was worth sharing...
Running Back A (sophomore season)
11 gms, 158 att. 1213 yards,
7.7 ypc, 12 TDs
Running Back B (sophomore season)
11 gms, 157 att. 1249 yards
8.0 ypc, 14 TDs
*Hint*
Running Back A played his sophomore season in 1983- Bo Jackson
Running Back B just finished his sophomore season last week.- Darrius Guice

I knew as my wife calls him little Darrius was good but that comparison and similar numbers is pretty mind blowing. To think that we had him and Fournette at the same time.

Is this groundhogs day all over again

What's scary is what our offense would have been without the two of them. And then what is sobering is we are just keeping pace with Bama. It's truly been the golden age of running backs at LSU the past 12 or so years. If Kiffin comes to LSU there should not be any drop off in the recruiting of running backs at LSU. Miles made sure we had great running back recruits to support his determination to always be run first.

What other school had two backs like LF and Guide on the same team? That both played
I know Oklahoma state had Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders

Your friend probably reads TD as this exact thread was started a couple of days ago.
This isn't really a "German" post. Just an FYI.

Wow I cannot believe I did not think of those. I guess because Thomas and Sanders had better nfl careers

Damn that is impressive. Guice is an animal. Hope he stays healthy next year as I would love to see a Heisman campaign with him.

O is getting Akers here, not Kiffin

Yea, but can Guice run up the wall and throw a guy out from the warning track?

Like I've been saying for over a year now. He's the best RB on the team. Fournette is the better pro prospect.

Wow. Thats amazing and depressing. Just imagine if the QB play was a little better and Fournette was healthy

They have very different running styles. The one thing we have yet to see from Guice is his ability to push the pile on short yardage plays.

Guice played in 11 games but only started 6, I believe. He had several games with just a few carries. If he would have started all 11 games, he'd be at around 1600-1800 yards, conservatively.
Look at what Fournette did against Ole Miss. Guice would have done the same.

What were Leonard's sophomore stats in comparison

I think that as a RB only, he compares more to Kevin Faulk than Jackson or Walker. It wouldn't be fair to add Faulk's All Purpose yards to the comparison.
