CEH will be able to be a feature back at some point. He can be a sproles type weapon this year where he's used in passing type situations. Slot hback etc. but as Williams and guice leave he will also be ablow to line up and run between tackles. Kids gonna be a good one

Yes.... he'll be a clone of Dalton Hilliard and McDonald will get the most out of him. (Much more so than Juluke)

Most of the pieces to the puzzle are in place except for one really key one and it will not be fixed this season.

I'm just hoping for marginally acceptable adequate for the OL.

Talent aint there across the board folks. A little individual talent but not even close as a unit................

The first name that entered my mind watching those highlights was Barry Sanders. The longer I watched the more the comparison seemed apt. CEH is on a different level than Terrance Magee.

Even size wise he's a little different. Barry was like maybe 200 lbs and was untouchable. CEH is stout. He's like 210 like Devonta Freeman and will drop his hat on you because of his strength. Barry wasn't trying to lower his shoulder.

Derrius Guice contends he would’ve been disappointed had his rookie understudy — and “Mini-Me,” as he’s been known to call Edwards-Helaire — showed up at LSU and done anything less.

It’s nothing he hasn’t seen before.

“He better come here doing what I know he can do, and that’s what he’s done,” Guice said. “So it’s no surprise for me. I expect him to do that.”

I love Guice's attitude. He seems to be a great leader. I hope his attitude rubs off on all of the RBs like it has Edwards-Helaire.

I can't argue with you on a conventional basis. I love K.J. Malone, but if he's our best OT and, perhaps, best OL going into the Fall, I can't say we have an elite, dominating OL.

On the other hand -

Talent aint there across the board folks.

This implies we don't have 5 or 6 starting SEC quality guys and we absolutely do - right now. Is some of that talent unproven? Certainly - especially with the loss of Teuhema. But, Malone, Clapp, Brumfield and Weathersby are all proven in my mind. The rest of the talent is raw, but I have to believe that - in 2017 - Cush, Savage, Campbell, Magee, Deculus, Ingram and Charles? There are 3 or 4 starters in that group - they just need a bit of experience.

Tell me where I'm wrong. (I'm not defending our depth there - there is almost no room for error - but suggesting we don't have talent in the position is negatigerism, IMHO. And we don't even know how the demands of the position will change under Canada yet.)

BB99 you must think that was a hell of a recruiting job my Miles to recognize and lock up such a talent so early in the process, right?

According to 247 he was recruited by Juluke and Canada so you could say he was a 50/50 recruit with Juluke being Miles' guy and Canada being O's hire.

There's absolutely no difference what so ever except that we have many self righteous, single minded, wanna be's, who take an accurate statement about a HS player then blow the statement up into their own fictitious conjuring of words, which was never said.

So what's more reasonable to the average person? Take a statement at its word or take it to mean CEH is literally the second coming of Barry Sanders? Lmao Yeah you people sound so reasonable in your responses, when most see exactly what I'm talking about.
