Haha ... I'd trade places with Brad Wing over any of those guys. Dude is going to be rich and still walking upright at 60. What a life.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

How the frick did Wing get a $2 mill signing bonus?

Was he drafted before draft positions were slotted?

Even more curious...why give an undrafted free agent a $2 mill signing bonus?

Wtf?

IIRC, He started with the Eagles, then went to Pittsburgh, and I think he was traded or signed with NYG.

And he's that good of a punter. I've heard his ball placement accuracy is insanely good going back to high school. He could play for 15 plus years in the NFL easily.

I know he's talented, but Ethan Pocic went like 58th overall and only gets around $1.3 mill signing bonus.

Maybe Wing had compromising photos of someone in the organization. Lol!

Regardless...happy for him.

this isn't Brad Wings rookie contract. He proved his worth with Pittsburgh and sign this deal with the Giants

First, he managed to be good enough to be traded in exchange for the Giants 7th round pick.

Then:
quote:

In 2015, he punted 76 times and had a 44.5-yard gross average and a 38.9-yard net average. 33 of his punts were downed inside the 20-yard line, which tied the Giants’ single-season record set by Brad Maynard in both 1997 and 1998.
