I wonder if he is wondering if he made the wrong choice to go to Georgetown? They are barely scratching .500 and a loosing record in conference. ESPN had them on the outside of the tourn. (I know there is more ball to be played). But coach has the Tigers rolling. There has to be some buyers remorse.

he's a contender for freshman of the year and won't be in school next year anyway

Well, if he was staying 4 years, I would say no...but since he is probably 1 and done, he probably has some regrets

But honestly, who would have thought the 2 schools would be in the positions they are in this year? How could you blame him for choosing GT over LSU (with Brady)

Yeah, I would NEVER have guessed coach would have LSU on a roll. I am not Brady hatin', I think we had some good years, but the turn-around at LSU is drastic. I wonder what our team would be like with him?

And yes he is having a great year- among better competition- but his team is not pulling their weight. I bet he will be a lotto pick no matter where he went.

I dont think LSU is a thought to him right about now, but I think it would be different if he would be a hi school senior today with Trent Johnson in charge @ LSU instead of brady for sure...

if hes going to spend a year somewhere, why not spend it somewhere like G-town. I love that place.

right, free ride to an awesome city and gets to play against real competition in front of real fans and get way more national exposure than he would have here

he'll have a few million reasons to not regret it

I doubt he really thinks about it much, but LSU would be at least a top 15 team and a serious contender with him in the paint. He would have probably won an SEC championship at LSU, but it doesn't appear he will win much from a team standpoint at Georgetown this season.

I think most people thought LSU would be a tournament team this year because of the experience.

I don't think anyone really thought GT would barely be 500 though.

GT sucking makes me very very happy.

Who would have known it was a mistake going to Georgetown?

If I was a high profile basketball recruit and I knew I was going to be one and done to the NBA (assuming I had no family loyalties to a state school), my recruiting visits would be three places... UCLA, Miami, Hawaii.

He might regret it, but the most talent is in the Big East this year from top to bottom. Playing in the big east will impress NBA scouts.

Unfortunately, it's hard to compare teams from different conferences. I'm pretty sure the only opponent they have in common is Tennessee. Gtown was playing a lot better ball when they played Tenn earlier this season (so were the Vols) and they lost by 12 to Tenn on a neutral court. As we know, LSU beat Tenn on their own court. If this game were played in the PMAC tonight, you are selling the Tigers short if you automatically assume Gtown would get the victory. LSU is playing great ball right now, meanwhile Gtown has lost 6 of 7 (granted they have played some good teams). If a bottomfeeder like Arkansas can beat OU and UT out of conference, there is no reason LSU wouldn't be able to seriously challenge a team like Gtown in the PMAC.

For a while our football team was playing just above .500 and I think the Big East as a basketball conference this year > SEC Football conference in 08. Plus GT is an awesome school and he seems to be a good enough kid to appreciate that.

Anthony Randolph is the one who should have regrets. Stay at LSU one more year, play on a great team, be a lottery pick and make a couple million more a year.

to each his own, i doubt we could beat GTown, they have actually played and beaten some good teams.

I think LSU would give them more than they want. GT problem is that they don't defend the perimeter. That is where Taz & Thorton live. Monroe would have a interesting match-up w/ johnson. I think we come out on top in that one.

And I don't believe that GT is any more high profile than LSU- as of late. We have more lottery pics in the last 15 years, more final 4's...
