Also, stop making the kid excuse for him.

19-20 year olds shouldn’t be having kids in the first place.

So now he’s quitting on his team and blaming it on a past bad decision on his part.

Sitting out the bowl game is more than just risk of getting injured. He is probably dropping out of school, hiring and agent, and starting to workout for the NFL pre draft process. Which is important, especially for a guy that needs to add some good weight.

LOL at the people who think Greedy will be at home playing xbox

Shitty “fans” already calling him out for his decision

As Les would say, no chest.

Well I guess your name says it all. Disappointed in you and Coach O. Bama’s players don’t seem to do this and they kick our arse every year. We need to recruit players with more character.

You helped us get this far and you’re not going to finish it with your team? Sad. No character.

Sellout

Well I see why you're called Greedy because not playin your in the bowl game is greedy af

I hear you

LSU uses Greedy to generate revenue.

Greedy uses LSU to generate revenue.

But...(jokingly) LSU still needs Greedy to generate some revenue...right?

So, he shouldn't think about his family and do what's best for them because you're worried about winning an exhibition game against a group of 5 school? Get outta here with that crap.

Is it a smart move to shite on high profile former players?

It's dumb to shite on any players for taking care of their family.

Then why did he risk playing this year at all?

Because despite what's said here, he wanted to fulfill his obligation to his teammates during the regular season.

Him not playing has zero effect on anything LSU does outside of what happens on that the field, that day. 1 game.

For all you bitches that are mad at Greedy, how about we pony up the money that he would lose over a career if he gets hurt in this game. Once again congrats young man you have earned it!

He was a great Tiger. But this is weak.

Good luck getting your money "Greedy". The rest of your teammates will go and fight one more time.

Is it just me or should skipping the bowl game for the NFL draft, hurt your draft value? I mean if a player is willing to skip a bowl game to get ready for the NFL, wouldn’t they also be willing to hold out for a contract dispute?

Of course I’m not bashing Greedy at all and totally respect and understand his decision.

I don't agree with this. I get kids that are already kind of injured. But sitting out to avoid getting injured is spineless, imo.

Spineless? I call it a good business decision. Playing in the bowl game does nothing to help his value, but can possibly hurt his value. If he has a bad game then that could cause his stock to drop, if he gets injured it could cause his stock to drop.

He doesn't owe the fans or anyone anything.

If you were in your 3rd year of college and someone offered you a once in a lifetime opening to make several million dollars doing what you went to college for, what would you do? You can always go back and finish your degree. Once you accepted the offer, would you do anything to risk losing that job?
