We won the 1984 national title putting just that concept to use and plan to bring that back in spades under Sitake, Detmer, Lamb and Co.
And by playing only one ranked team that ended up 3-9.

Seriously? You're just showing your ignorance. I live out here and it's beautiful. Waking up to mountain views every day - tons of outdoor activities and National parks to visit. I have access to just about anything I want here and downtown SLC is clean and has a lot to offer.
Do I agree with the liquor laws? No.
Do I agree with the religion? No.
I'm Catholic, from Louisiana and love my Tigers. All my family is there and when they come out for visits...they love the scenery and where I live.
I'm not a BYU fan at all. If you want to talk smack about them...stick to Provo. That's where BYU is located. University of Utah is in downtown SLC and it's a beautiful campus.
BTW - LSU in a rout 34-7

I'm not that religious, but I've read both the Book of Mormon and the KJV of the Bible - New Testament and much of OT. I would think that if the Bible is true, so is the Book of Mormon. They basically both teach many of the same things.

You're right. It's gorgeous out there, and BYU has an absolutely gorgeous campus! I literally couldn't find a piece of trash ANYWHERE.

Yes it is. Utah is a beautiful state. I live in Washington State but I've worked on a few construction projects in Utah and everywhere I've been from north to south, east to west, Utah is fantastic.
I also agree with your opinion about liquor laws and the Mormon religion. Other than those two obstacles, The state of Utah is damn near perfect.

Tell the truth. You graduated from a LSU sister school. They didn't require anything beyond a 4th grade reading level. I've got way too much respect for LSU grads to believe you're one of them. You inability to stay on subject and constant focus on the unique teachings of Mormons is proof of that. Why you care is beyond comprehension. There's not one negative thing a Mormon believes that will affect you if you just go on with your life. Let's talk football. I'm excited for the game. I believe LSU is a better deeper team. So I hope we catch you early while your team is in transition.

So anyone who reads the New Testament isn't Christian because they took away a lot of shite from the Old Testament

Went to the BYU/UH game at Reliant 4 years ago. Sat on the BYU side with 10-12,000 Cougar fans - Never seen so many empty concession lines. They bought water but nothing else.
The beer lines closed before halftime. Been to a game at BYU too and was even funnier. Biggest selling item at concession stands? Milk.

Mormon are Mormons. Not Christians. End of story. LSU by 20.

Thanks- I wasn't offended. I was mocking myself. I live in Houston so I'm so pumped to have another game down here. I'm thinking of going to the MISS ST BYU game later in year. A few years ago BYU played Ole Miss and pre game was the best experience ever. Fans were awesome along with the location. Have you been to Miss St? Is it worth making the trip. I would probably drive because the airports all seem to be hours away from stadium.

I personally have never had any pleasant experiences with Ole Miss however. They view us differently from BYU though, I'm sure!

Dude, you can't say you are a Christian but bring and practice non-Christian beliefs and then tell true Christians you are one of them. You are not because the Book of Mormon is an abomination to Christians and Joseph Smith was not a prophet. Period.
Regarding your football team. If you havr to go back to 1984 then let's talk about it. Your great BYU team was a joke of a Naational Champion. You played a sorry Michigan team with 4 or 5 losses in some 2nd tier bowl and won a close game to stay undefeated. Truth be known, that was one of the games which was often used as an example of why we needed the BCS because the damn Media would give an NC to any team which was undefeated and ignore their conference or strength of schedule.
LSU 38
BYU 10

Well this thread went completely off the rails!
Here's the deal though, there are many different interpretations of any book of God. There's only one that I completely disagree with but I won't state which one. These conversations can literally be endless, because of people's different teachings. If you feel you're close to God, are living right, sending positive energy out into the world, and beyond then God bless you. The end.
