I saw Nick Saban give a great individual coaching performance in TS when "his" Dolphins beat the Saints all over the damaged turf.

Gotta go with Carson and Alexander, but to pick an offensive performance is too easy. There were soem awesome defensive performances thru the years, especially at linebacker that are more difficult to quantify.
How about some of those?...

On the defensive side, the LSU defense against ND in 1971, had to be one of the great games played by LSU defense, especially the multiple goal line stands to keep ND out of the endzone.

Charles Alexander vs. Rice......77-0 ....my first game in Tiger Stadium.......I don't care who the opponent was, CA's stats in that game were ridiculous.....all I remember is the #4 jersey flapping in the wind everytime he ran.

That was a great performance, as were the 58-59 Ole Miss games.
Rydell Melancon, Louis Cascio, Tommy Casanova, Glen Dorsey, Bevan, Lennie Marshall, Lavalais, ...NONE of these guys get call outs for most outstanding individual performances?

1. Billy Cannon-Halloween night '59 and did it playing both ways.
2. Archie Manning '68 came back from 2 tds down in a preview of the next year. The guy was unstoppable when he was not injured.
3. Kevin Faulk v Houston '97 Wow, just wow.
4. Albert Richardson v bama '83-21 tackles. Now that was a MAN.
