I just don't understand why no one ever mentions the sack on Jason White that ended the Okies last drive. 4th and forever, one last gasp, and White gets hammered. Tigers ball and essentially ran out the clock. Most people probably doesn't even know the name of the guy who sacked White on that play. That was the play that sealed the game but it just never gets mentioned.

Still 100% convinced LSU's win in the 2001 SEC Championship game over Tennessee was the most meaningful win for the Tigers in 40 years and was the catalyst for the next 10 years.

I will never forget this. I was but a young buck at a BR Cotillion dance watching on a portable TV with a massive antenna one of the dad's chaperoning brought with him. The girls danced alone that night.
