The dude has literally only taken a little over 1 three pointer a game since the Miss St. game. I am ok with 1 three a game from my PG.

And he also only has 12 Ft's attempted since then as well, 10 of them coming in the Auburn game in BR.

Also he is only averaging 4.5 FGA's per game since Auburn.

And once again since Auburn, which I believe is when Patterson took over he has averaged a 3-1 A-TO ration.

So who is complaining about Gray's play?

He's improving and will be much better next year, so will Hornsby imo, Patterson also. We really need Epps and the other bigs coming off the bench to play better also. Malone made a few really good plays in this game. If our depth improves and if we can some how get Mickey and Martin to stay LSU will resemble Kentucky next year and I thibk play better as a team than Kentucky. LSU will have a very good team next year no matter what. We may make a decent run this year if they get hot and it looks like they are. Martin is finally playing with some intensity and he looks like the best player out there at the moment. I'm excited GT!!

Gray has improved with ball distribution, penetration and kick outs, reducing turnovers and his defense. But his outside shot and even FTs are abysmal for a guard. Not sure if that is a confidence issues, shooting mechanics need work, or both. Get that fixed, and he will be solid for us the rest of the way and into next year.

Still hard to believe he was a 30+ points a game point guard last year at the JUCO level with those shooting mechanics.
