Good news is that we shouldn't lose much to the NFL from this year's team

Based on how it's performing, slim chance many underclass men are good enough to declare.

They'll leave anyway and go undrafted like plenty of others

Would not surprise me at all if Hunter, Kwon Alexander, Mills, and Vadal Alexander all declared after this year.

Hunter, Kwon Alexander, Vadal Alexander and maybe Hawkins and Dural are juniors who are leaving.

Why is it that LSU, more than other schools, are losing players to the NFL?

The way these guys have been playing Kwon Alexander and Mills are the only ones we will miss.

I think Hawkins and Dural stay. They have a chance at being high draft picks and another year will get them closer to that goal.

Because they want to play in the NFL and don't really care where they go in the draft. JMO.

They wouldn't make a practice squad.

Kwon is way undersized and not nearly productive enough to be an NFL linebacker at this point.

You have to wonder why so many of them leave when they are going to be 6th rounders and maybe last one year in the league and make $100K max.

There are new rules on early declaring. Each school can have a max of 5, the ones leaving have to earn a grade of First or Second round, if they don't they can even be part of the draft.

That's maybe just the signing bonus, then they can use that money and pay off school and go back. Even if they only last 1 year.
