LSUAfro, nice excuses. I would not expect anything different

I don't believe I made any excuses

Bleacher Report is ridiculous in almost all of it's journalism. It's not a credible source to reference by any means for any aspect of sports.

ESPN
LSU #1 and UO #7

We can play the copy and paste game all day.

As a college football fan from all parts of the country, I can without bias say that UO is not generally mentioned as the most intimidating place to play. I don't doubt it gets loud, and would love to check it out some day, but it's not in most college football fans list of top 5 game day experiences and stadiums to go to. LSU is in most fans top 5, regardless of where they are from.

LSUAfro, I am calling your bullshite!
You paste a link that is all the way from 2006? You are joking right? What, you didn't think I would would not catch that?

And now you are doing a classic straw man. Notice, I never compared UO's overall game-day experience or downgrading LSU for that. Anyone that knows CF well knows LSU is high on that link, and UO is not. But you will easily notice, I never brought that up. I only mentioned how the county calls our stadium the loudest/ and or the most intimidating. I could care less if they thought we had great tailgating or not(we nationally we do not, but in the PAC-12 we are by far the best).

And since you are fond of ESPN remarks, why don't you ask ESPN because they have recently many times said our stadium is the loudest in the country. You do follow CF right? I guess not.

What are you trying to prove? You get pissed off when LSU fans on an LSU message board post positive things about the Tigers. I don't know what you expect. Oregon is a rising program. But they aren't elite. They are not on LSU's level yet. LSU has more talent top to bottom. It's not debatable. So you getting all bent out of shape because LSU fans are proud of their program and not bowing down to a second tier program like Oregon is completely illogical.

How many national championships has Oregon won?

How many Rose Bowls has Oregon won since 1917?

How many points will Oregon score on LSU?

And, as a bonus, how would Oregon's crowd sound in a non-gimmick stadium?

People like you are reasons I don't come to the Rant much more.

For a stadium that has been around for more than a 85 years and at it's currenty seating capacity for over 10 years posting a link from 5 years ago is still pretty relavent. Come on dude. LSU didn't just fall off the map and lose it's fan base in 4 years.

Yeah man...you win. You can take your very limited knowledge of College football and stadium experiences and keep telling yourself how awesome UO is. When you graduate high school you should travel more and get some first hand experience of other stadiums. I've readily admitted I haven't been to UO and can't comment on the experience there, but I've been to a lot of college football stadiums and I don't need to quote bleacher report or ESPN to know that LSU is amongst the best and loudest in the country. I hope for us traveling LSU fans to Dallas, we get to meet a more open minded and knowledgable UO fan than you.
I'm done with you.

Guess this thread turned into the big 26 page one. They talk until their main point gets disproven so bad they run to another thread.

I have read most of the threads where the duck fans have posted and have yet to find a point in any of their responses.

Give me a break. I post the obvious, some LSU fans start back peddling and using straw mans. Give me a F'n break. If your that insecure, then I feel bad for you. Btw, our coach has only been head coach for 2 years now. What have you F'n done in 2 years? Oh, I see, some medium level bowl each year. We have been to the best bowl on the planet, the RB. Last year we went to the title game. Please spare me the excused and spin. Oregon is no where the level of LSU may arse. That is right. No where the level because we have played in the last 2 years for the best bowls this country has to offer. What has LSU played for in this time? Down to earth people, reality check sets in. Its not about distant past. Its about recent, about current. And LSU has not even been a country mile close.

Couldn't understand what you were saying with all that

LSU is a better program than Oregon. Deal with it.

If so, please name the bowl game that you were invited to in the last 2 years that would back up your logic? We were invited to the Rose Bowl, and then the National BCS title game. How about you?

Congrats on making it to the big stage and shitting the bed. We win our BCS games. Also nice job judging the programs on a 2 year window. That's exactly how football programs are to be judged.

Calm down...Besides if you think the Rose Bowl is that great then you are obviously a huge PAC homer. SEC school's can't get into your little game which is 99% of the time Pac-12 vs Big 10. Who the hell brags about beating a Big 10 team?

2009 you played in the Rose Bowl( ) against Ohio State. You lost 26-17. This same Ohio State team got killed by LSU and UF(granted they beat our Flagship). I'm sorry that the SEC for the past five years has given this country its national champion. We(LSU) cannot be as lucky to play in a conference that allows us to so easily play in its best available bowl game.
