Going to Gainesville?

Me and a group of friends will be leaving for our first trip to gainesville friday morning. Anybody whose been there before know if its a good college town? Friday night we need to know if there are any good bars to go to. Also if anyone knows where alot of LSU fans tailgate let me know.

the cops are cocksuckers. they will look to frick with tiger fans. the bars outside the stadium are cool. that is as far as you need to go. no port o pots allowed on campus. i will tell you now, do not, i repeat do not piss on the side of a bldg or a bush, they will haul your arse off. get ready for a heap of corndog jokes. oh, and tell em' to "frick off" for me. enjoy

It is fact. We aren't even staying in Gainesville this year. Driving in for a few hours of tailgating, going to the game, then leaving.

And don't be retarded in the game. 2 years ago the cops were hauling LSU students out of the stadium before kickoff for things as dumb as standing on the seat and shooting the bird. Just don't do anything dumb because they won't hesitate to kick you out. It was complete BS.

Been to Gainesville many times...here are my thoughts!
1. Its always a long ride home. We always get our arse kicked here and will next week.
2. Great stadium to watch a game.
3. They are as passionate as we are
4. Their fans will show us respect and invite us to party.
5. THEIR COPS HATE LSU FANS. NO BOTTLES, DRINKING GAMES, BEER PONG, CREATIVE DRINKING, ANYTHING FUN.
6. ITS A LONG RIDE HOME AFTER WE GET OUR ASSES KICKED. WE ALWAYS LOSE A KEY PLAYER IN GAINESVILLE.
Good luck on the trip...I would save my money if I were you. Spend on Grudens first game next Labor Day.

gameday was there in 05' and we were in the crowd tigerbaiting some gator fans. it was harmless and good natured. some cock cop comes up to me and said if we did not shut our mouths he would haul us off for inciting a riot.

You have to be on the right side of the little brick wall to drink and they did threaten to throw me out of the stadium for standing on my seat. I was on the fifth row of the stadium and everyone around me was standing on their seat but I was the only one wearing purple

Country inn and suites off exit 384, Embers for dinner Friday night. Tailgate with the tiger band, as they get off the bus. the stories about police and drinking are true, it does not matter who you are LSU/Fla they will bust you.
