The best 10 year stretch in LSU history would most certainly include 2003. And if you cant see that, then its time to stop posting

It's the best stretch of any lsu coach.

For the record I was in favor of a coaching change if we were getting a sure fire upgrade like jimbo.

The decline is real

So to support your argumwnt you single out the last 3 years, and ignore the first 7? Nice. How many programs not named Alabama did any better in that same 3 year period? And what happens to your argument if the team wins 11 or more games next year?

Me too! Once Jimbo fell through, retention of Coach Miles was and is the best plan for 2016.

How many millions has the football program made over the last 11 years?

Good point. I believe many Miles haters are 100% completely infatuated with anything Bama/Saban.

It's something $140/ hr on a couch once a week could help them with.

But admitting there's a problem...?

Riiiiiiiiight. If by "fleeced" you mean being LSU's most successful coach in history. And I'll remind you again - if McNeese isn't cancelled and we win the bowl game, Les' record in the past 5 years is IDENTICAL to his record in his first 5 years - and both are better than Saban's 5 year tenure. Fleeced. Gotcha.

What's even more funny is that, while he was speaking on the SEC network, the screen labeled him as " LSU Athletic Director Glenn Guilbeau."

Again though, winning on great talent against inferior teams.. not even competitive now against equal or more talented teams.. This is the concerning part.. I don't see a new coach doing any worse than Miles (at the worst) and the sky is limit.

LSU will continue to win enough games to "get by"

Oh well.. At least we get good athletes..

So Miss. St. and Florida aren't legit wins? Bama steamrolled us and the team didn't show up for the next two games. That simple.
Everyone KNEW this team was young and inexperienced at key positions and expected at LEAST 3 losses heading into this season. Bama is the ONLY team in the SEC that can reload and not rebuild. Look at Auburn's expectations and how far they fell short. Next year this team is loaded on offense and has enough guys returning on defense. We will be a major contender next season. Fact, LSU's biggest problem is Bama envy.

The decline is real

It's a shame that people can't see how poor the team has been in conference the last 3 seasons. Let's ride OOC wins to another top 15 finish and a bowl loss!

Miss st. Is the 6th best team in the SEC west out of 7. Florida will likely finish the season on a 3 game losing streak as they finally play superior competition.

I wonder what it feels like to attend an SEC championship game. I've forgotten.

America, and now we know the LSU Nation under it, loves an underdog under persecution, especially one who is hard not to like and who was winning big just a few weeks and a few years ago. Miles morphed magnificently from Mad Hatter to Master Martyr as quickly and haphazardly as he has frequently fakes. By Friday, Alleva was the evil Mr. Potter of the Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) Savings and Loan, and Les, who is Jimmy Stewart, was George Bailey.
