Everything he said is right.

People seem to hate him for speaking truth.

No one saw Alexander and the ghosts of political influence coming to step in like they did, especially after all the two weeks of leaks.

A "public firing" ???

Les Miles being portrayed as a "Tiny Tim" figure is hilarious. The guy has fleeced LSU for millions, and I'm supposed to feel sorry for him because people speculate about his job?

How about letting him live the life of early 60s Americans, who after losing their retirement in the stock market are having work in supermarkets...and convenience stores...and retail stores....

Maybe that whole article is a satire.

He is just referring to the process that did in fact play out in public due to the leaking of info.

You have to admit that the process at LSU and the process at UGA were completely different.

GG is a troll on the scale of a mini Finebaum, but he got used here by the LSU athletic dept. As was Rabalais at the Advocate. Someone leaked this to both, knowing full well what the result would be. What was not anticipated was Alexander stepping in & changing all their plans. This has been noted by more than a few national sports talking heads. Your comments about CLM are ridiculous & one reason a lot of the CLM's haters are so looked down on.

Joe Alleva was made a bitch by all of this.

I do not see how he stays after being publicly cut off at the knees as he was. He was metaphorically stripped and his duties taken out of his hands and yet he still has to show up at the office every day.

He must feel like Les Miles has his testicles in a small jar on his desk. I don't see how he can function as the athletic director in such a way.

GG has a mole in AD dept but his mole is not privy to inner workings. That is the problem with moles they work underground and only surface but then quickly disappear.

Kudos to GG for standing up

You have to know when to hold em and know when to fold em

Alleva does not have a poker face and does not belong at the table with real players.

On Monday, yours truly, was asked on Paul Finebaum’s national sports talk show on the SEC Network to give a percentage chance of Miles remaining LSU’s coach for the 2016 season. I said, “The number is zero. It’s over. It’s just a matter of when they announce it.”

I meant specifically his admission of error. He admits that he should not have been so demonstrative in his assessment and should have said 10% chance that Les Miles keeps his job.

The 10% was the end run around Alleva at the last minute that no one accounted for.
