Give up the home game! Are we really that stubborn?

Who do we think we are? Are we really going to try and "make a point" by not giving up the South Alabama game if it comes down to that?
These are the cards LSU was dealt... schedule the damn game and give the players a real chance for a title. We wouldn't be in this situation if we had handled our business in Weeks 1 and 4, but we choked -- so get the game scheduled while we're still in this thing.
This is about the players. How can we expect them to be motivated with the thought in the back of their mind that going undefeated for the rest of the year could mean NOTHING?! They'd have nothing to play for.
And if we win the Title -- we'll make the money back we lost by giving up the South Alabama cakewalk.

I wouldn't give up the game but as much as I love LSU I think the schedule is too tough to run the table anyway.

NOT playing them IS letting them call the shots. They don't want to play. Not playing benefits them. So we should MAKE them play. I can't believe so many people can't see that.

Yeah, we should absolutely bend over and give up that home game revenue to accommodate the poor widdle Gators.

They're still in this thing now. Only way LSU should reschedule for 11/19 is if it appears after 11/12 that we will need to be 7-1 to win the West.

This is bigger than this season. It's about sending a message to the new commissioner that we are not going to be a team player if the league is going to refuse to uphold fairness. LSU is done being stepped over with things like this. They only do it to us because we keep letting them.
And if O and the boys win out anyway, buy them rings, hang the banners, and print the fricking T shirts that say 2016 SEC champs. I'll buy a medium. frick everyone else telling LSU to do what's best for the league. Do what's best for LSU.

That's exactly what LSU should do. UF didn't lift a damn finger to get this game played while LSU was bending over backwards. UF did that to avoid a likely loss and gain an unfair competitive advantage in the East.

Wrong. These are the cards UF had stacked in their favor by refusing to play. You don't reward UF's incompetence and borderline cheating by kotowing to their demands. frick UF and their bullshite arrogance.
If I'm Joe Alleva, I would publicly be calling for UF to nut up and play this game ANYWHERE by Monday, or publicly call for the SEC to issue a forfeiture to them. Plain and simple.

This problem will be the SEC's not LSU's. I hope we win out just for the chaos it will cause. Sankey will be pooping his pants and we will be media darlings for once. But I, like the other posters highly doubt we run the table

The players are competitors. Ask them if they would rather play 3 road games in 13 days for a shot at the West, or play South Alabama at home and watch the SEC Championship Game on TV.
