Our poor recruiting is showing. I hope I am wrong, but I think we are going to get shelled by the better teams in the SEC. Who evaluates talent? Something is very wrong.

It's still early, but yes, I'm worried. PM starting to remind me of TJ.

Not making any judgments on the staff, but sometimes recruiting too well is a bad thing in baseball...recruit great prospects only to lose them to MLB. But yeah, definitely don't see the talent we're used to.

He won a championship and took us to 2 CWS, so he will always be better than TJ. But I see your point

Wrong. Recruiting for LSU baseball should be easy. Best fan base in the country and top-notch facilities. Recruiting for LSU basketball means trying to convince kids to to come to a place where their sport is an afterthought.

Actually, it was, and has been since the early 90s. Only Collis Temple's AAU team attracted some interest for awhile, and even then we didn't sell out.

Trouble recruiting???? This is friggen LSU, one of the premiere programs in all of college baseball. That alone gets players wanting to be here. Its up to the staff to evaluate which ones they want.

I think it would probably pretty had to convince any good players to go anywhere to play college baseball since recruiting for college baseball means trying to convince kids to go play a sport that is nationally an afterthought
