3-0 and #8 in the country. Wtf is there to complain about exactly? Oh the fact Miles is protecting his young QB by running the ball? Nah, I'm good.

Would you be happier if we threw the ball 35 times a game and were 0-2 or 1-1?

Everyone that has been complaining are the ones that want LSU to run an aggie offense.

Miles has been at LSU for 10 years and his strategy has remained the same. I'm not sure why people think they're just going to start throwing the ball around.

Can you seriously not see why people have concerns for our simplicity on offense?

14-6 was the score against florida?

There is this idea I hear where it goes sort of like this. Lsu is holding back on showing to much of the offense saving it for later in the year. When you see lsu do a wrinkle( the fullback fumbling against Alabama) its very noticeable and I don't really pay attention. There is a lack of creativity. I hear oh last year mett obj hill landry. Last year is gone with those players and when the shite hits the fan and games like 9-6 21-0 first half against ga or Arkansas(2011) happen its do to the rigid game style. We came back against wiscy but it was a hell of a comeback to make that happen. If we go down huge like that against auburn are we coming back? People are worried because they see whats obvious. Heres to having your head in the sand

Absolutely he would. There are a lot of posters here that wants to see a gimmick offense with lots of points instead of 10-11 wins a year.

Lets just hold off on judgment until they play some good teams.

I love how everyone keeps saying this shite.

Everyone on this site said that would be a real tight game and that Melvin Gordon would run all over us. The spread for the game was -4 and dropped down to -3 right before kickoff.

We were down 24-7 in the second half and came back to win by 4 points, covered the spread and played a tough tight game against a pretty good football team and now retards say "let's wait until we play someone good". I think we have proven we can move the ball against a pretty good defense. We struggled to move the ball for the first half of the first game of the season. Since then first half of that game we've outscored our opponents 108-7. We must suck.

plenty of toss dive
besides making a bunch of rantards feel icky has this been proven to be an ineffective play? Didn't Fournette score on that play?

Lack of creativity in the running game? Hmmm. Cam Cameron has coached the 2001 NCAA leader in all-purpose yards who averaged more than 7 yards per carry, the NFL's single-season record holder in rushing touchdowns, a rusher in Baltimore who had two 2,000-yard seasons from scrimmage, a runner on his only season in Miami who led the entire NFL in yards from scrimmage before blowing out his knee in week seven, and Jeremy Hill last season. My guess is, based on track record, that Cam has figured out ways to be creative in the run game. Year, after year, after year for the last 15 years.

Cam's rushing offenses year-by-year in NFL (team ranking): 8, 6, 6, 9, 2, 23, 4, 5, 14, 10, 11.
Great track record, yes. But we are talking about this year and what we saw last weekend, right? And it is notable that all you can say about last year is ", and Jeremy Hill last season."

How was last year? Did our ultra conservative offense eventually bite us in the against Florida?

Tell me, what was the most creative running play you saw last weekend? Hand off to the fullback? I think I saw that run 4 or 5 times.

Yes, because we have one of the best "in game" coaches in the country who knows clock management(sarcasm).

Miles is a national best 22-21 in games that LSU has trailed at the end of the third quarter and is 75-3 in games his team has led after the third quarter. For those who challenge his ability to make sound in game adjustments, the record proves otherwise.

Not me. I'm more unhappy that we have run it that much against shite teams and haven't manage to get better results than 38th in rushing. It signals trouble for me, but hey, I'm a realist.

So why aren't we better running? We won't outweigh the d line by 40 lbs from here on out.

I love running the ball. I just think we should try running out of other formations instead of against loaded boxes.

Everyone knew we were gonna run it 50 times a game in the offseason.

Why is it a big deal now all of a sudden?

So 15 years of track record is blown up after one game against ULM?

Florida? I thought LSU beat Florida last year. I will have to go back and Google.
