I work with the guy and he and the Dawg Nation is disgusted over good - but not great under Richt- and losing to GA Tech has them mortified. I live in Atlanta and they thought they were going all the way and Alabama pounded them,
Florida pounded them, two real close wins vs. KY and AU, and the Tech game has them more down than us. BTW, he also hates Auburn and Alabama. Love the guy.

Not that the young QBs didn't hurt us as well, but our D could have kept us in many games and we'd probably be going to the cap 1 or cotton with a 9-3 season and no blowout losses or miracle comebacks against Troy.

What makes this even more sickening is this year they were ripe for the pickin. LSU could have blasted them at home with a competent DC. Even with the 2 pick 6's. Next year is at their place.

because you have 2 BCS titles in 6 years, are loaded with talent and will have another top 5 recruiting class, had an off year with QB meltdown, found your QB in JJ and have the best QB in the US coming in, made the wrong call replacing Pellini and are fixing it. WE DAWGS have ZERO NC's, a mediocre coach who contstantly under-achieves, was pre-season number one, and can't even beat our in-state rival anymore.

couple of clarifications
1. we will not have a new DC. Richt is standing by his man. This could be the beginning of the end for Richt.
2. if (when) Staff goes pro we'll be in decent shape at qb (better than yall were this year) with a 5th yr sr with at least some game experience.

Joe Cox is not someone I would be crowing about. His game experience is against the Ga Southern and Central Michigans of the college football world.
He hasn't taken a meaningful snap in his 5 years at UGAy.

I agree i can remember days in the 80's that you could walk down to the purple and gold section and have a seat for some games. The new blood has only seen some of the greatest years for LSU. Keep your heads up guys, things will get controlled and we'll be back on track for another NC.

yep according to the ajc richt doesnt expect a new dc.... stafford and moreno may both bolt to the nfl this but UGA is getting back sturdivant, owens, atkins already said he is coming back, curran, aj green... they will still be solid

im not sure staff and moreno will come back ... 1 of them will definitly be gone maybe both
