You guys sound so desperate. Nothing is changing so just go ahead and support the team and hope for the best.

Or he is abducted by aliens? It's equally likely.

It does have to be tough on Les going to a job every day where deep down he knows he is really not wanted.

I sure wouldn't like that feeling.

I was assuming we were talking about schools they talked to in the event of his firing

That was tossed around by Moscona and Hanny (lightly). I doubt he goes.

People who haven't left Louisiana don't recognize how poorly perceived Les Miles is as a football game coach by the rest of the country.

Les Miles might catch on at a place like USF or UCF or North Texas, but there are no upgrades or lateral moves in his future. We're stuck with him.

Anyone know what schools he was gauging for Miles and who's to say none of them will go after him with "guns a blazing"??

Yeah really tough. 4.3 million a year is a tough way to make a living.

Yes, yes, I know, of course the big bucks make it easy.

I'm just saying I wouldn't like the feeling of not being wanted at my job.

If Miles leaves for another job, that school does not owe us the $15 million buyout. That buyout is if Miles is fired without cause.

Don't quote me, but I believe Miles has no buyout if HE chooses to leave, with the exception of Michigan, where he would owe $1 million. I read this somewhere, and don't care enough to look it up again.

If there was a buyout Lester had to pay for leaving, LSU would forgive it in a NY second.

Hell, LSU would probably pay his moving expenses.

i'm not so sure this is true. he got a standing o. got carried off the field. the players "rallied" for him. some of his booster friends probably stuck up for him. the media gives the appearance of being in his corner. AND THE ENGINE IS FINE.

nevermind that most of the money was trying to kick him out. alleva was quite ok with it. recruits are jumping ship. the team is giving minimal effort. the offense is the worst ever.

but next year, he'll get by with 9 wins and alexander will say we're getting our money's worth. good times.

And I'm just saying that for 4.3 mil my boss could shite in my pillow every night. Of course I'd have to hire someone to change my pillow before I go to bed, but that's where the 4.3 comes in handy.
