Came on in relief of Ricky Ragarm and is pitching effectively vs the Yanks. Unfortunately for the Birdies, Ragarm gave up 3 and C.C. has a no no through 5.

Yep. No doubt that I, sitting here in my family room in upstate NY, had an effect on a baseball game 350 miles away.

In any event, Kevin G is doing well.

Good thing it came against Yankees and that rag tag bunch... Cano/Gardner only two worth a damn on that team currently

I was at the game. I am so glad he was able to get the O's out of the 3rd.

Glad to see Gausman doing well. As great as LSU has been in baseball the past 20 years few seem to do anything in MLB.

Do you mean except for Ben McDonald, Todd Walker, Aaron Hill, Ryan Theriot, Charlie Furbush, Russ Johnson and Paul Byrd, among others?

Exactly. Add Albert Belle and that's pretty much the list. Belle and Byrd probably had the best careers but that doesn't seem to be a lot of players over 20+ years of having the best program in college.

I would include Brad Hawpe among those others. He had a few good years with the Rockies. Maybe Mike Fontenot also. And as you said, there are others who tasted the big leagues. .

Meh, got sent back to AAA but called back as the swing man, he's gonna be a stud in time, but right now he isn't throwing quality strikes, and hitters are blasting that FB the second time through the order.
