Since you're staying in NO, I suggest Drago's either in Metairie or at the Hilton downtown for dinner.

Head to campus early. The vet staff will try to load Mike into his travel cage around 3 or 4, so if you want to see him in his habitat, go early.

To get into the PMAC to hear the band, hang out at the bottom of the ramp and I'm sure someone will let you enter with them.

And just remember...there are always some jerk fans...ignore them...and enjoy your day.

Why is that? Traffic, or just the parking around the stadium? Both? Thanks for the insight.

wear the orange and blue. there are plenty of Tiger fans that will go out of their way to be nice to visitors. just smile and laugh when you get "Tiger Baited!" little kids love to Tiger Bait the visitors, so just be cool with it.

make sure you go west of the stadium to the big RV lots. This is where the serious food is.

Get super arse drunk by 5:00pm. Pass out exactly at back door of old Hodges dorm just east of stadium. Leave your 4 tickets in shirt pocket (tucked neatly into your pocket protector). Wake up with terible hangover at 11:00pm and realize that me and 3 friends had a hell of time watching the game at your expense.... Got it?

We're parking at Alex Box West and our tailgate is just north of the PMac. Do we walk along Nicholsan, the tracks, or what's the best route from that parking lot?

We're leaving post game toward LSU ave, E.Boyd, Stanford etc to I-10 east. Any idea how long that will take?

I hope everybody isn't drinking again.

Olde Tyme. We tailgate at the corner of Nicholson and Burbank. Look for the white Tailgatin Tigers trailer. We will have multiple Gaytors at our tailgate so if you would like to try some fried Louisiana shrimp and fish and a multitude of other dishes stop by, The more the merrier!!

If you want the best experience, dont wear any Florida garbe. Wear LSU hat and shirt and you will have the best time of your life...wear Florida colors and you will wish you had died and gone to hell.

We always take River road and park down there... easy to get out if you stay interstate side of the Vet. Mike is to the north and the march down the hill is usually like 5:15.. get there early as it is awesome to see...Enjoy

Both. Traffic on I-12 once you get into LA will be crazy, especially the closer you get into BR. Parking will be a nightmare with Gameday being there. Just be safe and get there early.

That is for a 6:00 start...since the game is at 7, you may want to add an hour to that and make it 5:00-5:30.

Just take what ever you get (tiger baits, a little heckling) and have fun with it, don't act like a little bitch and cry or start a fight.

Damn i'm already excited!! I get on a plane in 6 hours heading back to the states and driving from VA on Thursday. I know this is a thread from a gator fan...but i haven't been to Tiger stadium in 18 years and all the tailgate info is a big help for me as well!! Hope to meet some of the Droppings faithful on game day!
